# What is shown under Latest statement?

> The most recent published period on your dashboard, and how to open the full statement.

**Latest statement** is the most recent accounting period your record company has published for you.

Expand it to see three figures: **Opening balance** (what you were owed when the period started), **Payments** (what was paid out during it), and **Closing Balance** (what you were owed at the end).

Below it, earlier periods are listed in the same way. **Statements** opens the full list.

If you see **Check back later**, nothing has been published yet. Statements appear here once your record company publishes a period, so if you're expecting one, ask them.
