# Can I connect this data to my own tools?

> What you can get out of the portal, and what isn't available.

There's no API for artists and no integration to connect. What the portal offers is files you download and work with yourself.

**Sales CSV.** Every sales line behind a statement: track, release, store, territory, sale date, units, amounts, the rate applied and the royalty. This is the one to build anything on.

**Costs CSV.** Every cost charged in the period, with its type, date and invoice number.

**Statement PDF.** The formal statement, for your records rather than for analysis.

You download per period, or several periods at once from the ledger view, which gives you a zip with one file per statement. Opened in a spreadsheet, the Sales CSVs stack into whatever history you need, since every row carries its period, contract and dates.

Your record company may have other options, since they can export from their side in formats the portal doesn't offer. If you need something regular, ask them rather than working around it.
