# Does the portal work on a phone?

> What works on a small screen, and the two things that need a larger one.

Yes. The portal is a website that adapts to the screen, so it works in your phone's browser at [app.qlero.io](https://app.qlero.io). There's no app to install, and nothing separate to sign up for.

Your dashboard, statements, payments and analytics all work. The navigation moves into the menu behind your name, tables become stacked cards, and the download button becomes an icon in the corner of the statement.

## What needs a bigger screen

**The ledger view.** **Switch to ledger view** isn't shown below a certain width, so the period list is all you get on a phone. That also means downloading several periods at once needs a laptop.

**Charts in Analytics.** The bar chart and the world map want the room. The ranked lists themselves are fine on a phone.

A phone is good for checking a balance or whether a payment has gone out. Reading a statement in detail, or reconciling several periods, is easier on a larger screen.

<Tip>
  Your authenticator app is usually on your phone too. Signing in on the same device means switching apps for the code, so keep the portal tab open rather than closing it between checks.
