# How do I add or change my bank details?

> Where your payment details live, which depends on how your record company pays you.

It depends on how your record company handles your invoicing and payments. There are three arrangements, and only the first two give you anything to fill in.

## Billing Information

When your record company invoices on your behalf, click your name in the top-right corner and choose **Billing Information**.

**Address and tax.** Address, Postal code, City, Country as a two-letter code such as `SE`, VAT number, Tax rate (%), and Tax wording, which sets whether your invoices say VAT, GST, Sales Tax, HST or Consumption Tax.

**Bank Information.** Account number / IBAN, BIC, Bank name, Bank address, and two extra fields for anything your bank needs.

Address, City, Country, VAT number, Tax rate, Tax wording and Account number / IBAN are all required, so the form won't save until each one is filled in, even when you only came to change the account number.

## Tipalti

Some record companies pay through Tipalti. You'll see a panel at the top of **Payments** asking you to set it up, and **Set up Tipalti** opens Tipalti's own form for your payment and tax details. It shows **Ready** once everything Tipalti needs is there, and **Review details** reopens it later.

Details you enter there are held by Tipalti rather than in Qlero, so that's the place to change them too.

## If you invoice your record company

There's no **Billing Information** entry in your menu and nothing to fill in. Your bank details go on the invoice you send them.

  Your details are read when your record company prepares the payment, so change them before then. A self-bill that has already been produced keeps the details it was made with, and a payee whose required details are missing is skipped when self-bills are generated.
