# What is Switch to Ledger View?

> The link above your statements, and what it changes.

**Switch to ledger view** swaps the period list for a table of the same statements. It sits in the top-right corner of **Statements**, and on a statement itself.

The cards answer what you're owed, one period at a time. The table puts every published period in one place, with a row for your payee that expands into your accounts and their contracts, and columns following the money from opening balance to closing balance. **Period** above the table narrows it to the periods you choose.

**Switch to summary** takes you back.

It's worth a look once you have more than one deal with a record company, because it's the only place you can see all of them side by side. With a single contract the summary usually tells you everything the table would.

<Note>
  The link is only shown on wider screens. On a phone you stay on the period list.
