# Reply-to email address

> Choose where replies go when payees or societies answer an email Qlero sends for your record company.

Qlero sends emails on your behalf: payee invitations, statements, payment confirmations and CWR deliveries. A reply-to address decides where an answer goes when someone replies to one of them.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need write access to record company settings.

## Set the reply-to address

**1. Open the settings**

Open **Record Company Settings › General › Configurations**.

**2. Enter the address**

Under **Email settings**, enter the address in **Reply-to email address**, such as `royalties@yourlabel.com`.

**3. Save**

Select **Save Changes**.

The address applies to every email Qlero sends for your record company from then on, including emails already queued but not yet sent.

## Leave it empty

The field is optional. Without a reply-to address, a reply goes to the address the email came from: `no-reply@qlero.io`, or your own domain if you've set one up under [White label](https://docs.qlero.io/labels/getting-started/white-label.md). Qlero's address is a no-reply address, so set a reply-to address if you want payees to be able to answer your emails.

To stop using a reply-to address, clear the field and select **Save Changes**.

> [!TIP]
>
> The standard statement and payment emails also show the **Finance Email** from **General** in the text, so payees can write to it even without a reply-to address.

## Next steps

* Change the wording of your emails and send them from your own domain in [White label](https://docs.qlero.io/labels/getting-started/white-label.md).
