Define the names Qlero uses for sales file formats, delivery partners, and sales platforms.
Template providers organise the templates that read your sales files. Sources and stores describe the sales inside those files. Set the names up once, and every template, contract term, and report uses the same ones.
Changing template providers, sources, and stores requires write access to RC Configurations. If you don’t see the Options button, ask your administrator. See User access and roles.
Template provider. A collection of templates for related file layouts. A template tells Qlero how to read a file’s columns, and the provider is how you find the right template. Qlero ships system providers for its built-in templates; custom providers hold the templates your team builds.Source. The distributor or licensing partner the sales came from, such as FUGA, The Orchard, or AWAL. Sources can be used in template mappings and as conditions in contract terms.Store. The platform or outlet where the sale or use happened, such as Spotify or TikTok. Stores can be used in the same places. For example, a template under the FUGA provider reads a FUGA file layout. The sales in that file have FUGA as their source and Spotify as their store. The provider and source names match, but they answer different questions: the provider finds the template, the source identifies the sales for royalty rules and reporting.Open Settings › Configurations, then click Template Providers, Sources, or Stores.
Create a custom item when the name you need isn’t in the list yet. Names must be unique within a list.
1
Open the create form
Open the list, then click Options › Create.
2
Enter the name
The form has one field, Name. Use the name your team will recognise when a file arrives.
3
Create the item
Click Create Template Provider, Create Source, or Create Store. The new item appears in the list.
If your access includes imports and exports, Options also offers Import and Export for the current list. Import gives you an Excel template to fill in and upload; the result appears under Imports, where you review it before committing.
Edit or delete a template provider, source, or store
Rename an item. Open its row menu, choose Edit, enter the new name, then click Update Template Provider, Update Source, or Update Store.
The new name shows everywhere the item is already used, including templates and terms. Providers marked System can’t be edited or deleted.
Delete an item. Open its row menu, choose Delete, and confirm.
Deletion can’t be undone. Qlero refuses to delete a provider that still has templates, or a source or store that sales data, template mappings, or participation overrides still use. It doesn’t check contract terms, so remove a source or store from any term that uses it first.
