Overview

Tracks and releases can be removed from the Repertoire when they are no longer needed. To preserve the integrity of historical reporting, deletion is restricted once the track or release has appeared in a sales file.

When deletion is allowed

A track or release can be deleted as long as it has not been referenced in any sales file. New repertoire that has been added but never matched against incoming sales can be removed without restriction.

What is removed

Deleting a track or release also removes its aliases and any contract assignments on the track or release. Reported statements that already include the track or release are not affected.

Records that cannot be deleted

If a track or release has been referenced in a sales file, it can no longer be deleted. To stop the record from being used in future calculations, consider editing it or excluding it from future processing instead.
