Payees using Self-Billing Request submit payout requests through the Artist Portal. Review each request, then approve it for a payment run or deny it.
Reviewing payment requests requires view and write access to Payments & Transactions and view access to Repertoire & Agreements. If you don’t see Pending Requests or Review, or payees appear as IDs, ask your administrator. See User access and roles.

Review a request

Handling payment requests requires the Payments add-on. Contact Qlero to enable it for your record company.
Leave a request pending if you need to check something with the payee. Closing the review window keeps it in Pending Requests.
Adding a review note currently clears the request’s tax amount. Leave the optional note empty when approving or denying a request with tax.
1

Find the request

Open Reporting › Payments › Pending Requests. Use the Payee or Requested filter to find the request.
2

Review the amounts

Approve or deny

Click Approve. The request leaves Pending Requests and appears in All Payments as Approved, ready to include in a payment run.Denial can’t be undone. Click Deny to reject the request immediately. It moves to All Payments as Denied and can’t be included in a run.
Review Nora Lane's payout request and approve it for a payment run. Approval doesn’t send a payment or generate a self-bill. Add the approved payment to a run; Qlero generates the self-bill when the run is prepared.

Find a reviewed request

Open All Payments and filter by Payee or Status. The Approved / Denied column shows the review date. To reopen the details, click the row’s three-dot menu and choose View.
