Add a user to a payee so they can sign in to the Artist Portal and see that payee’s data and published statements. Several people can access the same payee, and one person can access several payees. For example, Nora Lane and her manager Sam Carter can each have their own login for Nora Lane’s statements.
Adding or removing payee users requires view and write access to Agreements. If you don’t see + Add Payee User or Remove, ask your administrator. See User access and roles.
The payee must already exist. Its Contact email is a contact detail; entering an address there doesn’t give that person a login. Manage Artist Portal access on the payee’s Users tab.

Add a payee user

1

Open the payee's Users tab

Go to Agreements › Payees, open Nora Lane, and click Users. Click + Add Payee User.
2

Choose the person

Click the Existing or New tab.Existing. Choose someone from Select from existing users. Users already linked to this payee are left out of the picker.New. Enter the person’s Email, for example sam@example.com, using the address they’ll sign in with. Name is optional, but entering Sam Carter makes the user easier to recognise in the list. Use this tab when the person isn’t in the Existing picker. If they already have a Qlero login under that email, Qlero links it to the payee.
3

Add the user

Click Add Payee User. The person appears on the Users tab with their name and email, and Qlero sends an onboarding email.
Open Nora Lane's Users tab and enter Sam Carter's details in the Add Payee User form A person who is new to Qlero receives a link to set their password. Someone with an existing login receives a sign-in link and keeps using that login. Adding access to another payee keeps their existing payee access. Repeat from each payee’s Users tab when a manager represents several payees. Give each person their own login so you can remove one person’s access when their involvement ends.

Remove a payee user

Removing a user takes away their access to this payee’s data and statements. Their access to other payees and any organisation membership remain. If they have no other payee access or organisation membership, Qlero also deletes their login account.
On the payee’s Users tab, click the three-dot menu beside the person, choose Remove, then click Remove in the confirmation. The person disappears from the list. You can add them again later. If their login was deleted, they receive a new link to set a password.
