Every row shows the same three figures. Net Sales. What your record company received for those sales, before your deal is applied. It’s the size of the business behind the row. Royalty. Your share of it, calculated from the rates in your contract. This is the figure that reaches your statement. % of Total. The row’s share of net sales across everything currently on screen, so it moves when you change a filter. The gap between Net Sales and Royalty is your deal, not an error. The percentage measures net sales. On a statement, the percentages in the top-performer lists measure royalties instead, so the same track can show different shares in the two places.

If a royalty has an information icon

Click it when you see one. It means the row’s royalty spans a period where your contract’s currency changed, so it’s made up of amounts in more than one currency. The panel lists each amount and converts them at today’s exchange rate. That conversion is a rough guide for reading the row. It isn’t what you were paid, and it doesn’t change any statement.
