Qlero is the royalty accounting platform your record company uses to calculate statements and pay you. They’re still your contract partner and your point of contact. We hold their figures and run the software; we have no part in your deal. That’s why the portal can look like Qlero rather than like the label you signed with.

Branding

Record companies can put their own look on the portal. When they’ve set it up, their logo sits in the top-left corner and the accent colour through the pages is theirs. When they haven’t, you see the Qlero logo and Qlero’s blue instead. Either way it’s the same portal and the same data. Branding says nothing about who holds your money or who to ask about it. The emails work the same way. A statement or payment email comes with your record company’s name in the subject line, because it’s sent on their behalf.

What this means in practice

Anything about money, rates, deals or timing goes to your record company. Anything about signing in goes to Qlero. That split holds however the portal is branded.
