Costs shows what was charged against your deals during the period, grouped by cost type. Recording, manufacturing, marketing and video costs are typical, but the types are your record company’s own naming. The amounts are the share allocated to you rather than the full invoice. If a video cost EUR 10,000 and your deal carries half of it, EUR 5,000 appears here. No costs for this statement means nothing was charged this period. It doesn’t mean you’re recouped: costs from earlier periods can still be sitting unrecouped on your account, which is why royalties can show here with nothing transferring up to your payee balance. Costs are charged at contract level, so switch to a contract to see which deal carries them. For the invoice numbers and dates behind each one, download the Costs CSV.
